• The role is a client-facing in an extremely fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: The Senior Consultant will work across a variety of internal and client-facing blockchain initiatives. This includes activities such as:

• Ideating blockchain use cases specific to client industries, business needs, level of innovation and risk appetite

• Collaborating with teams across Deloitte businesses and functions

• Authoring key thought pieces on a variety of distributed ledger technology concepts for external publication

• Facilitating client workshops to educate clients on the blockchain, develop blockchain strategies and priorities and demonstrate EMEA’s blockchain assets and capabilities

• Creating responses to client proposals and requests for information

• Assisting with preparation for and often presenting at, blockchain and FinTech conferences

• Developing executive level communications/presentations

• Engaging in client-facing blockchain implementations Qualifications General

Professional Qualifications:

• Professional with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

• Ability to travel 20-50% may be required. Varies by location and client

• Prior experience in innovative technology, preferably blockchain, strategy development for top tier companies and/or with top strategy consultancy

• Thinks strategically handles ambiguity and interacts with senior business leaders

• Critical and creative thinking as well as the ability to execute the details

• Outstanding analytical, research and presentation skills, exceptionally strong PowerPoint skills

• Familiarity and fluency with strategic and innovation frameworks and conceptual constructs, strong interest in strategy and innovation

• Track record of delivering results

• Ability to deliver results under pressure, manage multiple tasks at once and work effectively with multiple stakeholders (both internal and external)

• Curiosity/experience in distributed ledger technology, mining and/or cryptocurrencies

• Familiarity with a lean organization or start-up environments and a desire to dive in across various needs Technical Qualifications

• Solid understanding of blockchain / distributed ledger technologies – familiarity with protocols, such as Ethereum and Hyperledger, or have a fundamental basis to be trained in such protocols is preferred

• The experience was various languages, such as Java, JavaScript, C++, Angular, Node, Go, HTML5 is preferred
